Extrusion Application Center Uzwil, Switzerland

Our Extrusion Application Center in Uzwil is a multi-purpose lab where you can put your ideas to the test. Trial new recipes, refine product shapes, and perfect textures, all in one place.

For food applications, we run trials on cereals, extruded breadcrumbs, reconstituted rice, flavorings, modified starch and flour, soybeans, sunflower seeds, peas, and new proteins.

For feed applications, we regularly test pet food, animal feed, and aqua food for both freshwater and marine species.

You'll work with our latest technology, and you're welcome to bring your own machines to integrate into our lines. Whatever your project, our experienced team is on hand to support you every step of the way.

We also operate Extrusion Application Centers in Changzhou and Wuxi (China) and Minneapolis (USA).

Test your products from intake, recipe and extrusion to drying, grinding and sifting. We work together with our customers from all over the world to test many different types of products.

Our main lab in Uzwil is highly experienced in food and feed. Its work extends across all of our application centers and across all of our business units. Consult our expert lab technicians and send us your new products and tests for analysis.

Work across our other application centers

We understand that you often need multiple processes to create food and feed. So we work closely with our other application centers which are located next door to us - including grain technology and milling.

Join one of our seminars or have us train you onsite

We run workshops on food and feed twice a year for both theoretical and hands-on training. Learn the basics of extrusion and use of our latest machines - a great way to train new employees. We can also provide training at your production facility.

Get help troubleshooting processes with our plant doctors

We can also visit you onsite to help troubleshoot your product or production processes. Or we can offer advice on how to maximize yield or to set up and adjust equipment. Get in touch for more details.
